To be honest, this looks to me like an enormous improvement. I really find it hard to like the normal unsupported bedsheet that calls itself a minisail main.
But why stop there? I am still sure that an MX-Ray sail would fit very well onto a minisprint...if only you could work out how to get sufficient mast rake.
I have a MX-Ray sail here waiting for anyone who wants to give it a go.
